Care Instructions
Mikko dyes her yarn and fiber in small batches with professional grade dyes. She takes special care to ensure that all dye is set properly into the fiber, however due to the nature of some pigments, you may see some residual dye exhaust in your first few washes. Don't worry, this is normal and will not impact your project so long as you stick to the following:
1) Block / Hand wash your project in COLD water and pH neutral soap.
2) Projects that are high contrast (e.g., red and white stripes) should be steam blocked instead of wet blocked.
3) If you are going to machine wash any superwash hand-dyed yarns, do so with like-colors for the first few washes and in a garment bag for added protection. However, hand washing is always recommended over machine washing.
Return Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase, so if your item(s) do not meet your expectations, you have 14 days upon receiving your order to initiate a return. Contact Mikko at mikkomead@gmail.com and provide the following information:
1) Name & email address
2) Order Number
3) Item(s) and quantity to return
4) Reason for return
All items must be in original condition and free of any contamination (e.g., pet hair, smoke, or other smells). Yarn must not be untwisted, caked, balled, or worked from, and original ball bands must be attached. In other words, it needs to be returned in the same condition as it was when you received it.
If these conditions are met, a refund will be given for the original item(s) cost plus sales tax, excluding shipping cost. The buyer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
